Quote by Eleanor Roosevelt #WisdomWednesday

eleanor-roosevelt

Today I am quoting Eleanor Roosevelt in which she says

“Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you´ll be criticized anyway”

I come from a Pakistani family and in our culture it is very important what people say. Growing up with that mindset it is very difficult to do what you really want to because you always have this thought in the back of your mind “what will the people say?”.

But this quote gave me another point of view. You can’t please the people. They will always find something to criticize. It´s almost like some people have made it their job to find something negative in everything and everyone. Keeping that in mind you may as well do what makes you happy and what feels right for you because in the end you are the one who has to live with that decision and not the other people.

Are you doing what you feel to be right in your heart?
